The past few weeks have been busy, yet wonderful. The Lord has blessed me in so many amazing ways. With all 14 schools starting on Monday and more and more of our children getting education, I see such a beautiful future in place for each of them. I've been moving to pay the school fees for the children in our program, and it's amazing to see their faces when they know they don't have to worry about school. I was in Kamanga 2 weeks ago, and the children found out we paid for their fees and their uniform. I was in the car and they all came running. I got out and was taken over by the hugs from each of them. So many just said, "Thank you SO much" with a HUGE smile on their faces. Seriously, it doesn't get much better than that. A few weeks ago I wrote a blog about a sweet little girl named Onesta. I talked about how she would have the chance at a better life. I wrote about how she would live in a nice home with loving parents who would encourage her to attend school and trust in the Lord to provide all she needs. I believed the Lord would provide the financial support for this sweet girl and her brother, and the Lord did. He provided in a way where I least expected, which always encourages me because HE is in control. People I didn't even know personally gave with a generous heart for these sweet kids. Now I'm writing with another child heavy on my heart. And again, I believe the Lord will provide for this child. Her name is Lillian Banda. She is 14 years old and was rescued off the streets at the beginning of this year.
